- What we did:
- We took something boring and confusing (personal finance), and, by giving it an intuitive user interface and a clear conceptual framework, helped people “get” their finances for the first time ever.
- Why it’s awesome:
- We get love letters from our users! For a budgeting tool! Read that again: Love letters! Budgeting tool! We’re making it even awesomer.

Attention management for distractables
Monotask
- Oh! Is this out now?
- Shoot. No. Not yet. But it’s so awesome, we wanted to include it. We’re building it with Mogrify.
- What is it?
- It’s like a firewall for your attention that you control. Want to block Twitter for two hours so you can get your work done? Monotask locks you out. Want to shut down the whole internet except for Gmail? No problem. Monotask is launching … soonish?

Easy protection from ID theft
Wallet Garden
- What is it?
- If you lose your wallet, you need to cancel your credit cards, pronto. But if you’ve lost your wallet, you don’t have the emergency contact numbers you need to call. Wallet Garden stores those for you. It doesn’t store the card numbers — just the emergency phone numbers. It’s free.
- Awesome!
- I know, right? Over 6,000 people are using it. You should, too.

An e-mail-to-Twitter-ID database/API

- What the what?
- People comment on blogs all the time. We felt that there should be a good way for their comments to automatically link to their toots. So we built an API that does just that (like Gravatar, but for Twitter accounts). We also built a WordPress plugin, so installing it is super-easy.
- Is it awesome?
- Once you get your head around it, yes. Yes it is.

Crucial docs, close at hand
Emergency Binder!
- Is this what I think it is?
- Yup. It’s a set of awesome and free documents you can print out, fill in, and stick in a binder. Everything from family medical records to emergency shutoff valves.
- How awesome is it?
- Somewhere between “moderately” and “severely.” Regardless, it’s useful. And this is the kind of thing some people charge $50 or more for. Ours is free. And awesome.
